Calis Beach is the main beach area for the bustling lively town of Fethiye. It stretches for over 4kms with a promenade flanked by the beach on one side and numerous Hotels, restaurants and cafe/bars on the other. The beach ranges from sand at the Fethiye end (top right of picture) to pebbles at the opposite end. Here is the place to relax, swim or snorkel in warm seas, sunbathe sensibly or relax in a cafe drinking in, the casual relaxed atmosphere. The locals and waiters are very friendly and are unusual in that they have an English sense of humor. You must sit and dine one night and watch the amazing sunsets, maybe drinking your Raki.
